ArtPrize 2012 Inspired Inkscape Crop Tutorial

I was inspired by yesterday's ArtPrize 2012 finale to produce an Inkscape tutorial which roughly simulates the process they used, very memorably for me, in their logo this year. I hope this helps you to get a little more comfortable with Inkscape, if you are interested.

iTunes Free Music, my 1-Year anniversay log

So, Apple is awesome. You may not know this but they offer between 1-5 free songs per week every Tuesday on the iTunes music store. If you like music and don't check these out every week you should. I've been downloading these since college, and am blown away by their ability to pick the next big thing. One year ago, I began a log of their free music by week. I miss several weeks, but in general it's there. So as it's my one year anniversary, I thought I'd do a retrospective here. Check it out here if you'd like.

Here's the highlights, the first four are huge hits that you've probably heard, in one case #1 hit on the Country chart.

"Feel So Close" - Calvin Harris
"Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" - Kip Moore
"Midnight City" - M89
"Born to Die" - Lana Del Rey

Here's some you may not know but should (here's six):

"Somebody" - Jukebox the Ghost
"Come Back Down (Featuring Sara Bareilles)" - Greg Laswell
"Little Talks" - Of Monsters and Men
"Fineshrine" - Purity Ring
"Hold On" - Alabama Shakes

You can listen to all of these and listen to the rest of the list absolutely free at Spotify which is free and amazing.

Google Play also gives away a free song every day, plus tons at various locations, but this is just my list for iTunes.
